Maureen (Maudie) Trueman is an award winning artist who has been passionately involved in art for over 25 years. Being a painter and ceramist enables her to be very versatile in her work. Maureen was a founding member of the
Dayboro Art Gallery, having moved to the Pine Rivers area in 1970. Maureen was at the Gallery all day yesterday, Sunday, 18 April, and visitors could come in and view Maureen's work and chat with her about her art practice.
Maureen's studies include 2 years Architectural Sculpture and USQ Toowoomba. Influenced both via travelling and her imagination, Maureen Trueman currentyly has works in England, Germany and Australia.
